Message from President Nils
Progress is being made on the planning for the 2019 Durty Dabber Great Adventure Dual Sport ride and adventure bike ride. After several meetings with DCNR, the City of Lock Haven and state parks, we finally hammered out an agreement which was signed and sent to Harrisburg for legal approval. There are no major changes that would affect the riders. Most of the changes had to do with legal stuff. We are able to maintain our maximum number (same as last year) of 550 riders, this being 400 dual sport riders and 150 adventure bike riders. I would highly recommend pre-entering for the event to protect your spot, although last years we were able to have same day sign-ups with no problems. We will keep everyone updated on how the sign ups are progressing so everyone can plan ahead. In the past, we have been averaging about 500 to 525 riders which was a good number to us to deal with. We’ve had some bigger years and we also made that work out OK .
Again, this year we will have access to both ATV areas and have some promising private land for the more difficult alternate sections. Looking forward to seeing you this year on our ride.
Nils

It’s just an awesome event and a great time to share with your friends and family. (Even if some of those friends would rather laugh at you than help you change a flat tire!)

We’ve attended your Dual sport two years in a row now and always have a great time! Challenging, fun terrain for all skill levels, beautiful scenery, and a great group of people awaited us each time. Will be back for more! Thanks for a great time!

We received many photos in the photo contest and had a difficult time choosing the winners. There were many photos representing what the dual sport means to the riders as well their family and friends. Mark, Eric and Adam will receive free registration for 2019 Durty Dabbers Dual Sport scheduled for June 1 & 2. Check back for more information on the event as we are working on the registration form for this year.
